Alyssa | Practice Manager
Alyssa began her career at Welnak Dental as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2010. In 2014, she began working at the front desk and learning about insurance and administration. She holds certifications in Dental Radiology, Infection Control, Coronal Polishing, Pit and Fissure Sealants, In Office Whitening and Temporary Crown and Bridge Fabrication. She is also CPR certified.
She became the Practice Manager in 2017. She is continuing her education and working toward a Bachelors in Business Management. She enjoys meeting patients and ensuring that they have an enjoyable experience.
Melissa | Front Desk Receptionist
Melissa is a 2013 graduate of New England Culinary Institute where she received her AOS in Baking & Pastry as well as a BA in Hotel/Restaurant Management. After years of working in the hospitality industry in various capacities, she was looking for a change and joined Welnak Dental as their receptionist in November 2017. She has become fascinated with the dental industry and is constantly asking both the Dr.’s and hygienists questions to expand her knowledge. As much as she enjoys the lively teachable moments her questions lead to; her favorite part of the job is interacting with each patient who walks through the door.
Chelsea, RDH
Chelsea graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s in Health Science in 2015. Her passion lies in patient education and caring for pediatric patients as well. Chelsea’s patience and compassion helps the youngest and/or most anxious patients feel safe and comfortable. Since dental anxiety is so prevalent, she works hard to maintain a calm environment for her patients to create an overall positive experience at the dentist!
She started her career in the dental field in 2015 at a pediatric office in Connecticut and has been in general dentistry since she moved to Vermont 6 years ago. As a dental hygienist she is certified in CPR, Dental Sealants, professional Fluoride, Treatments, Dental x-rays, Antimicrobial Placement, and Local Anesthesia.
Stephanie, RDH
Stephanie became a team member in November 2012. She is a 2011 graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute’s Dental Hygiene program and has experience assisting in both General Dentistry as well as Orthodontics. In addition, she is certified in CPR, professional Fluoride Treatments, Dental Radiography, Sealants, Local Anesthesia and Anti Microbial placement and Laser Therapy. Stephanie enjoys promoting positive oral health as a part of overall health. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association as well as the New Hampshire Dental Hygienists’ Association. Stephanie is thrilled to be a team member with the Welnak Dental Office.
Erin, RDH
Erin has been involved with the practice on a per diem basis since 2010 and on staff since 2012. She graduated in 2009 from New Hampshire Technical Institute with an Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Since 2009 Erin has worked in the public health setting for the Cheshire Smiles program providing dental screenings, cleanings and education to school aged children in 21 schools in Cheshire County. Erin enjoys working with children and people with special needs. She works with each patient to determine their best treatment plan and provides tools and education to help every individual to best care for their dental health at home. Erin is certified in CPR, Sealants, Dental Radiography and professional Fluoride Treatments and Dental Anesthesia and Laser Therapy. Erin maintains a positive outlook on life and she shares her energy and enthusiasm with each patient. She is excited to be a permanent part of the Welnak Dental Team.
Kellie, RDH
Kellie started working as a hygienist with the practice in 2018. She graduated in 2011 from New Hampshire Technical Institute with an Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to being a hygienist, Kellie worked as an orthodontic assistant and through that, she decided she wanted to expand her dental knowledge and skills into dental hygiene. In 2012 Kellie moved to Illinois and worked as a hygienist in the Chicago suburbs for 5 years. She also taught dental health to a Teen Mom Organization and in some Preschools. Now that she and her family have moved back to New Hampshire, she is excited to be working at Welnak Dental. Kellie is also certified in CPR, Sealants, Dental Radiography and professional Fluoride Treatments. Kellie’s favorite part about working in the dental field is partnering with patients to get their best dental care as a team.
Donna, CDA
Donna joined Welnak Dental in September 2017. She has over 17 years of experience as a Certified Dental Assistant in both General and Pediatric Dentistry. She attended NHTI for certifications in Radiology, Oral Inspections, Infection Control, Coronal Polishing, Pit and Fissure Sealants, In Office Whitening and Temporary Crown and Bridge Fabrication. She is also CPR certified.
Donna enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with her husband and two children.
Ashley, CDA
Ashley joined the practice in May of 2021. She graduated from NHTI in 2011 with an Associates Degree in Health Science and is certified in Radiology, Pit and Fissure Sealants, Sealants, Temporary Crown and Bridge, Coronal Polishing, Infection Control, Whitening, and CPR. She recently obtained her orthodontic assistant certification. She brings over ten years of experience as Certified Dental Assistant. She enjoys working with patients, and feels passionate about making them feel comfortable and having the best dental experience. In her free time, she likes to travel, exercise, and spend time with her dog.Fun fact: Ashley did an internship with Dr. Pete Welnak in High School.
